Many people ask me why mountainbike, well because mountainbike is a passion and I love every aspect of my sport. Riding my bike in the alps is the most beautiful thing in this world. And crossing that finish line after
weeks of hard training is even better.
I started when I was 12 years old. before I did mountainbike, I rode motorcross.
That was really usefull for my technical skills on the bike, since last winter I went back on the motorbike. An enduro this time to keep te risk as low as possible!

Last race before the worldcups took me across the river, On the olympic course of 2012 I had my last real Physical test!
In the start I was allready in troubles, I was almost involved in a crash and lost a few places. I chased the front group for a half lap, the pace there was a bit to high for me and I got dropped. In the second group i was one of the stronger riders.
Due the wind it was a very hard race and because I did a lot of work in that group I decided to chase tje front group alone. After six laps My body said stop, on survival mode I made it to the finish op place 7. Happy with the feeling but still some work to do.
